NativeBridge

Was NativeBridge kann

NativeBridge

Google Drive, right in the Files app

NativeBridge is an app for iPhone and iPad. It shows your Google Drive as a location in Apple’s Files app, just like iCloud Drive.

What NativeBridge does

  • Browse and open your whole Google Drive, with its folders, in Files.
  • Edit files in any app that opens documents and save the changes straight to Google Drive.
  • Upload, rename, move and delete files. Deleted items go to the Google Drive trash.
  • Open Google Docs, Sheets and Slides as Word, Excel and PowerPoint files.
  • Connect several Google accounts, each as its own location.

Why NativeBridge needs access to your Google Drive

When you sign in, NativeBridge asks for access to your Google Drive. It uses it only to show your files in Files, open them and save your changes. It also reads your email address and name to show the account in the app.

Your data stays between your device and Google. NativeBridge has no server of its own for the app; we never see your files, file names or account data. No advertising, no tracking, no selling of data.

NativeBridge’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can end access at any time by removing the account in NativeBridge or revoking it in your Google Account. All details are in the privacy policy.
